Nundle Woollen Mill starts blogging

This is our first blog so please be patient with me, I hope it will be the start of a lot of new info about what is gong on in and around Nundle.

For those of you who haven't visited Nundle before, it is a village of about 250 people, 60 klms SE of Tamworth in Northern NSW. Without doubt, the village survives on tourists although the small population is of great support to the general stores and local watering hole.

Nundle is our piece of wonderful paradise. It has a working woollen mill (surprising called Nundle Woollen Mill) which has machinery dating back to 1914, it has a general store which has been continually operating since 1850 and you can even have a beer in a pub that was won in a poker game!

So on your next drive north to Brisbane or drive south to Sydney (for example), take a small detour off the New England Highway and drop in on us in Nundle. We guarantee you will love it! (I'm not sure what we are going to offer in place of the guarantee if you don't love it....)
We hope to see you all soon
Cheers,
Nick & the NWM team
