To celebrate the launch of Loani Prior’s new book (released April 2010) ”really wild tea cosies”, we are pleased to announce that Loani, the knitting guru herself, has accepted our invitation to visit Nundle Woollen Mill from Friday 21^st May to Sunday 23^rd May 2010 to run a workshop of knitting her award winning tea cosies. And you are invited!

It will be an exciting weekend to learn new knitting techniques for those who have limited knitting skills to those who have mastered the craft. You will learn how Loani uses the iconic tea cosy to demonstrate the wild and sculptural possibilities of knitting.

You will learn to knit in the round on two circular needles – a skill you can then transfer to knitting socks, jumpers, bags and all sorts of fabulous things. And you will also learn to knit all kinds of beautiful motifs and accessories.

If you can knit a stitch and purl a stitch and cast on and cast off, you can join this class. If you consider yourself to be an advanced knitter and would like to start to knit outside the square of a pattern, this might also be the weekend for you.

….there are only 4 places left. Loani sets a limit of only 12 participants per class so that she can offer all knitters as much one-on-one instruction time as possible. Unfortunately we are unable to extend the numbers or add another class so this is a one-time opportunity to learn some exciting new knitting techniques from the master herself!

You will look at projects in magazines or knitting books after this weekend and say ‘I can do that’!
